Just some food for thought... make sure you're analyzing 'how' the secondary sources are conveying those facts, not just the facts themselves. The way the writers deliver the information can really impact how you perceive what they're saying.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be very helpful to maybe use some sources that were not directly about Jackie Robinson's life, but instead about African Americans as a whole at that time in society. I think when comparing Robinson's life to the lives of average African Americans at the time, it shows how truly profound his story really is.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the point of your paper? I know the books are about athletics and racism but you should make sure that in your paper you clearly state what you are examining. Also, don't just use facts to support something that you're saying; use them to look at your idea from every possible angle.
